In Ahava Arts, children will get to explore different art mediums throughout the year. Our experienced teachers assess their ability and bring out the best in them. They will be introduced to different art mediums and craft works such as watercolour painting where they can will learn how to handle different tools skillfully and henna drawing where they will learn how to hold, draw, and achieve neat lines and shapes with a henna cone while having fun. There will always be something new to experience and explore in our art rooms.

Children will be given some of their masterpieces to bring back home to keep. This encourages them to be proud of the work they produce.

The Zumba Kids program is the ultimate dance-fitness party for young Zumba fans of ages 4-11. It features age-appropriate music and dance moves that get kids moving to the beat in no time. Zumba blends global music with energetic dance moves. Dance improves sensory alertness for kids. Besides being a healthy and fun cardiovascular exercise, there are lots of advantages of Zumba for children. These workouts teach kids to lead an active lifestyle from young. It prevents childhood obesity and improves coordination skills. Kids will also develop their social skills by making friends with fellow dance mates.

Character building strives to teach children the basic values and principles of right and wrong. Positive character building helps learners to make good decisions independently. Character building is vital in developing a child’s cognitive, social and emotional skills, helping children live fulfilled lives based on core ethical values. Positive behaviors such as kindness, honesty, responsibility, love, care, patience etc are taught and reinforced in a fun way, helping learners to retain what they learn and use it to shape their lives in future. This soft skill is something they will benefit from lifelong, positively impacting others along the way.

Our imagination is the one thing that never stops growing. Speech and drama is a creative way for children to develop imaginative play, whilst developing their vocabulary, social and gross motor-skills using theatre techniques, games and interactive activities.

Watercolour Painting

Kids will be introduced to and will learn how to handle the different tools used in watercolour paintings in the correct manner. Basic to advanced watercolour techniques will be taught, and kids will create their very own pieces of art to take home!

Children will be given some of their masterpieces to bring back home to keep. This encourages them to be proud of the work they produce.

Candle Art

Kids will learn how to draw on block and tealight candles using acrylic paint. They will be taught tips & tricks to easily achieve desired designs and to easily correct mistakes made while drawing on the candles. Kids will bring back their very own display pieces created in class!

Gift-frame Designing

Kids will learn how to decorate & spruce up a simple frame using various mediums such as paint, paper, deco items etc. They will be guided by a facilitator as they work on their very own masterpiece. Kids will bring back the stunning frames created by them!

Henna Drawing

Kids will learn how to hold, draw, and achieve neat lines with a henna cone. They will be taught different components of basic henna designs, and will be able to put together these concepts to create their very own unique design!

Acrylic and Stainglass painting on Glass

Kids will learn how to draw on glass using both Acrylic and Stainglass paint. They will learn simple tricks on achieving desired lines and shapes when drawing on containers such as glass or candle holders. Kids will take back pieces decorated by them!

1, 2, 3 Action (Introductory Drama workshop)

Our imagination is the one thing that never stops growing. 1,2,3 action introduces children to the basics of acting and stage presence.

Rocking actors (advanced Drama workshop)

Rocking actors helps children to develop imaginative play, whilst developing their vocabulary, social and gross motor-skills using theatre techniques, games and interactive activities. It’s an advanced class for budding actors.

Kid’s Kitchen (Eating and cooking healthy)

Spark their interest in culinary arts young.

Kids will learn how to make quick, easy and healthy recipes under 35 minutes using 5 ingredients. They can sit down with their peers and enjoy some of their own creations before heading home with new tricks and tips up their sleeves.

Tote bag Painting

Kids will learn how to create designs and paint on their very own tote bags. They will learn different tips and painting techniques.

The next time they go out, be sure to let them carry their own tote bags. They learn to reduce waste and get to show off their creative work at the same time!

Plaster Cast

We offer plaster cast workshops/services where kids learn how plaster cast are made. It will be shown and taught to them step by step. At the end of the workshop they get to bring one home.
